Conducting

The Conducting program at the University of Arkansas includes up to three semesters of conducting courses for undergraduates. The Department of Music also offers the Master of Music and the Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) degree in Instrumental or Choral conducting.
Graduate students in the conducting program work one-on-one with faculty members to hone their skills in conducting through direction of small and large ensembles. In addition to academic classes and performance-based work, students present conducting projects through live performance.
