Schola Cantorum
The University of Arkansas Schola Cantorum has a long and illustrious history that spans more than 50 years and includes performances for President Kennedy, appearances on national television, and concerts in some of the world’s great venues. The choir tours nationally and internationally giving approximately 10 concerts each academic year and performing choral masterworks spanning 1,000 years of the choral canon. Membership is highly selective, but includes undergraduate and graduate students from every college on campus and represents more than 20 majors.
Audition Information
All those interested in singing with the Schola Cantorum are required to audition. Auditions are held the first two days of the fall semester (August 19th and 20th, 2024) in MUSC 332. To sign up for an audition, visit the form posted outside of MUSC 335 (the choir room) and reserve a time by listing your name and email in a specific time slot. The audition takes about 10 minutes.
