Concert Series

The Department of Music hosts a number of concert and event series each academic year. While some series are quite active with performances, others are more concentrated on specific areas of music experiences. The Department continues to develop these series as outreach for the community as well as campus-focused activities including lectures, performances, and workshops.

Accent Faculty Performance Series

UArk Music is proud to present the many amazing artists from the faculty of music in the Accent Series. The majority of these concerts are housed in the Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall on the UA Fayetteville campus. The community and UArk Music students benefit from a stellar line-up of these outstanding musicians and teachers.

Fulbright Chamber Music Series

The Fulbright Chamber Music Series, led by Professor of Violin Dr. Er-Gene Kahng, brings internationally acclaimed string musicians to Northwest Arkansas. Concerts in the series are held throughout the region. Previous performances have been held at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, the Pryor Center for Arkansas Oral and Visual History, and the Guisinger Music House. Origionally invisioned as a summer series, the Fulbright Chamber Music Series now spans the year.
