Candace Davis is the University of Arkansas Children’s Choir director as well as a full-time music teacher at The New School in Fayetteville. Mrs. Davis received her Master’s in Music Education from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. Prior to her position at the U of A, Mrs. Davis was the Fine Arts Pastor at Christian Life Cathedral in Fayetteville. Mrs. Davis has also taught for the Gentry Public School System where her junior high and high schools choirs received first division ratings at regional and state competitions as well as superior rankings in out of state festivals.
Mrs. Davis accompanies areas schools for concerts and during contest season. She has judged area vocal and choral competitions and served as a clinician for the Tulsa Public Schools Honors Choir. Mrs. Davis also has a private piano and vocal studio. Currently Mrs. Davis is pursuing her PhD in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville.
